Rupesh Shah
Rupesh Shah is a qualified chartered accountant from ICAI & Cost Accountant from ICWAI. He is a strategic finance leader with experience of over 25 years in providing financial leadership and guidance in complete gamut of finance, tax and accounts function including corporate finance, taxation, M&A, project financing, fund raising and investment management.
He was heading the finance and accounts function for both real estate development and investment in stock market business division in Pratham group (one of the premier real estate developer). Earlier he has worked with Nitco Ltd as Associate Vice President – Finance. He has worked extensively in the areas of managing the IPO process and M&A for expanding business footprints to international markets, conceptualizing and implementing financial processes, working capital management, profit monitoring and building internal financial controls.
He has been an experienced facilitator in the finance domain and conducted several training programs on topics ranging from Indian accounting standard, understanding balance sheet, finance for non-finance, GST & it’s impact , lending decision etc. He has conducted training for Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, Yes Bank, IDFC Bank, BOB, ICICI Bank and various top management institute etc.
He has served as a committee member on the SME Rehabilitation Committee of Bank of Baroda, Member of Board of advisor on various Start-up ventures in Mumbai and Ahmedabad and currently co-authoring industry specific publications of ICAI. He also serves on the advisory board of studies of many Business Schools in Mumbai.
